DENY, DEFEND, DEPOSE!!

“Deny,” “defend” and “depose, the words” found written on shell casings that were shot and killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson by a gunman in New York City on Wednesday. The gunman became a national folk hero and a social media sensation. The reactions on social media, X (Twitter) and TikTok videos, were not kind, and according to some official and media pundits mean-spirited that reflect mockery and resentment toward the CEO and private Healthcare Insurance industry; “your thoughts and pray were denied,” tweeted one to the CEO family. Standup comic Samantha Ruddy wrote in her own X post. “I personally do not feel like I am on the shooter’s radar because I am not the CEO of a highly divisive multi-billion dollar insurance company.” Right-wing podcaster Tim Pool, suggests that Americans across the political spectrum can find rare consensus when it comes to disdain for their free-market health care system.” This reaction shows that we are more United than we may think: The ruling class manufacturing differences among us, racism, transgender bathrooms, refugees eating our dogs and cats, Islamophobia, class welfare, and sexism. The killing of the Healthcare CEO brought America together.

HOW MUSLIMS COULD HELP IN THE TIME OF PANDEMIC

Since the 9/11 tragedy, Muslims have been in self-Quarantined and self-preservation. Living in America as a Muslim has been a tough ride, and a constant struggle, stumbling over the bumps of Islamophobia, racism, and war on terrorism craze. The horrific pandemic that has infected more than a million people around the world and killed more than 50,000 so far has dramatic ramifications not just on the financial structure of our economy, but, more importantly, on our culture and values. As professor Schultz of Hamline University explained on my show, said: Albert Camus’s The Plague and The Stranger. Together they capture the absurdity and tragedy of life in the age of Covid-19, one full not necessarily of one where people pull together but instead cast a wary eye toward others”.

MUSLIM LIFE IN TIME OF PANDEMIC!

Since 9/11, living in America as a Muslim has been a tough ride over a rough road stumbling over Islamophobia, racism, and war on terrorism bumps. In time of the Coronavirus pandemic this may change; there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  The horrific Virus that has infected more than a million people around the world and killed more than 50,000 so far has dramatic changes, and the worst is yet to come. The ramifications are not going to affect just the financial structure of our economy, but also, more importantly, our culture. AS professor Schultz of Hamline University explained on my show, America in time of the pandemic is becoming a nation of strangers, in Camus’s proportion. “Every disaster shakes to lose the old order.
