My landline phone; the new message light was flashing, that is too early for that. I dialed *98, then listened to the frantic voice of my sister-in-law — “… I’m ok, I’m Ok” played it back a few times. I wasn’t sure what she meant. But I didn’t make much of the strange message; my sister-in-law sometimes known for eccentric outburses.

Last week, on the 19th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy, New York Times columnist Paul Krugman tweeted to his 4.6 million followers that “Overall, Americans took 9/11 pretty calmly. Notably, there wasn’t a mass outbreak of ant-Muslim sentiment and violence, which could all too easily happen.
