ANERA sponserd a feel-good evening filled with laughter, featuring a special performance by Egyptian-American comedian Ahmed Ahmed! ANERA’s director of development, Hani Almadhoun, will be speaking about the current refugee crisis in Lebanon and conditions in Gaza and the West Bank, with an emphasis on the positive impact ANERA supporters have through our projects on the ground.
All proceeds will go toward projects that help Palestinian and Syrian families improve their lives and live in dignity.

The Peace March in memory of Srinivas Kuchibhotla to show our Minnesota community’s solidarity against hate and our commitment to peace and tolerance.
Srinivas Kuchibhotla was killed in an disheartening incident on Feb 22,2017, shot in a sad display of hate. Alok Madasani and Ian Grillot were wounded in the incident that took place in Olathe, Kansas last week. Ian took gunshots in a very brave and compassionate attempt to protect Srinivas and Alok.

Born in Alexandria, Donia Massoud left for Cairo at the age of 19, alone and independent, to the outrage and chagrin of her family. After a number of experiences on stage, both singing and acting, Massoud began a three-year journey searching for and documenting folk poetry and music. She traveled the length and breadth of the country, from Suez to Upper Egypt, to learn and study the musical repertoires of ordinary people.
