THE ANGRY ARAB WE SHOULD ALL LOVE.. REP. RASHIDA TLAIB.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib, infamous mem!!

Rep. Rashida Tlaib responded to her  “impeach the motherf—er” comment:

” … I want you to know that I will never apologize for being me, and for being passionate and upset” – coming from a color, Arab woman, you got to love it!

The hysterical reactions to Palestinian-American Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib using the M word, the mother of all cussing, had everyone wondering; was she going to apologise, was this helpful, and how was this going to heat up the new left and democratic party agenda. From Conservatives, liberals, the media, to mosques, churches and pulpits, republicans and democrats, men and women all showed a degree of outrage towards Representative Tlaib.

Why was there such widespread outrage to Rep. Tlaib’s comments that took place in a bar to a group of her supporters, celebrating the first Palestinian Arab, Muslim women elected to Congress? People say worse than that in sports bars and restaurants. This wasn’t on national TV or at the White House. “I’m very passionate for fighting for us … I want to tell all women out there, be yourself, not hold back, don’t think you can’t get passionate and angry,” she insisted, injecting sexism and double standards used to box women into a traditional role and control not just her body but also her mouth.

WHAT 60M INTERVIEW REVEALS ABOUT OUR MEDIA AND THE EGYPTIAN DICTATOR

The Psychopath of Egypt on 60M

The recent CBS 60 Minutes interview of Egyptian president Abdel Fattah el-Sisi revealed as much about our media hype as much as the unstable psychological status of Egyptian dictator, this was not the first to feature an Arab dictator on a major American news network. The US media have been prepping Arab dictators for years, from Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gaddafi, and Nobel peace winner Anwar Sadat, to MBS the Saudi young reformer; humanizing mass murderers like Reagan, Bush (father and son), and Netanyahu is becoming mainstream news. In a nutshell, the media here is not working for the public good as it was intended, instead, America’s interests and money drives the corporate media’s moral compass, adopting government narrative during wars and the corporate pocketbook and ratings during peace.

In the case of the Washington Post’s tireless coverage of the gruesome killing of Saudi citizen and journalist Jamal Khashoggi and crusade to expose the Saudi royal family’s handling of the tragic killing, against American interest and the Trump administration’s hierocracy, this was an aberration and personal crusade by the Washington Post Opinion Editor, Karen Attiah and sense of duty to her friend Jamal Khashoggi.

With the 60 Minutes interview of Egyptian dictator el-Sisi however, it appears to be an interesting case of self-promoting journalism and celebrity journalist grandiose. CBS mooted it as “the interview the Egyptian government don’t want you to see,” and for days released snippets to lure viewers and increase ratings, which incidentally was conducted last September during el-Sisi’s address at the UN in New York. “They sent us a formal request to stop airing the interview” the 60 Minutes producer claimed. All this hype and drama about an interview lasting a few minutes with a dictator who Trump himself called the “fucking killer.”

Dogs don’t chase Village Fools …!!

My Old House in the village as stands NOW

In our village, dogs chased kids and kids chased  Rafut: The village fool , as he was known to everyone, a middle age well built man, a stranger, and outsider, he wasn’t one of the locals, no family, no address and no last name. You never seen him in the fields or at the barber shop, Only showed up in weddings and funerals, for free handout of food, in the street, kids paraded him with insults , showered him with rocks , never retaliated, never complained,,, and that was his only way to survive kids brutality and village ambivalence ! Rafut… , I alway wondered why dogs never chased the village fool!!
